Wills Decorating is a local family owned business specializing in custom draperies, blinds, window treatments, upholstery, flooring, wallpaper and Benjamin Moore Paint for residential and commercial clients throughout Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia.
Founded in 1965 by our grandfather Wills started as a home improvement store, chock full of many hard to find items and an array of home decorating products. In 1970 our mother opened up a pop-up decorating store in an adjacent storefront, offering custom draperies, blinds, fabric padded walls, wallpaper and carpeting. By 1994, the focus of the store shifted entirely to residential and commercial interior design, while adding upholstery. organizing and home staging services, a huge variety of flooring, Benjamin Moore Paint and decorative accessories such as mirrors, lighting, wall art and furniture accent pieces.
Wills Decorating, now operated by its third generation of family members, continues its dedication to providing high quality decorating products, expert design advice and superb customer service. The current owners, Michael and Valerie pride themselves on providing personalized design services and strive to make each design project unique, always with the client's lifestyle, tastes and budget in mind.
Our business practices continues to be guided by principles of sustainability and social responsibilty. Many of the decorating products that you will find at Wills reflect our enviornmental efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, greenhouse emissions and landfill waste. We also seek vendors who pledge to source their materials responsibly as well as small fair trade vendors from emerging economic markets in other parts of the world.
